I am very intentional with only shooting on analog cameras. In today’s world, it’s easy to snap a quick thoughtless photo. I don’t mean to say that it’s bad for people to take a lot of photos or capitalize on that technology being so accessible. However, that accessibility and easiness has made me respect film and analog media so much more. It’s easy to take a picture, but not to capture a moment. I personally feel that analog media has the unique ability to immortalize a moment in time. To take a physical frame of an experience, as opposed to a picture of it. I find that to be one of the things I find most rewarding about my photography, the feeling of truly capturing a moment in my hands.

How many memories have you lost to apps you don’t have anymore? Have you ever had a mishap with your iCloud storage? You ever wanted to listen to Neil Young in the car without owning the CD? If your phone were to break, would you have any photos of your loved ones? Tangibilty matters and analog media matters, because a bird in the hand is worth 10,000 AI birds in the camera roll.

How’d you even find this section anyway? This isn’t even navigable from any place on the website except one place that only a freak would click? What, do you frequent the footers of websites?
